This document will help you configure your e-connect device using the mobile application.

Installation of the configuration App

To configure the e-connect device, is necessary the configuration App of e-connect available in:


Enabling bluetooth


Once the application is installed, we have to enable the bluetooth (if it's not already enabled). On android pressing the button will

automatically enable the bluetooth, on iOS the App will redirect to the configuration of the iPhone to enable the bluetooth.



Connecting with the device


Once the bluetooth is enabled we have to connect the USB backpack to the device in order to connect and configure it.

When the App is started the device will search the nearest device that have the backpack connected:



When the device is found, the App will inform you with the following message:



Log in

When the App connects with the device, if it's the first time we must log in.



If we had already logged in, the App will ask if we want to continue with the last user logged or if we want to change the user.



Validate device


When logged in the App will validate if the e-connect device is registered.



If the device is no registered the App will show the following screen.



Configuration


If the device is registered the configuration screen will show up.



We can modify the network data and date and hour, we can also reset the device or shut it down.

When modifying the date and hour the following screen will show up, to change the date and hour we must save the changes.

Once the changes are saved the e-connect device will reset to apply the changes.



Finally when we finish configuring the e-connect device we select the option "finalize".



When we finish the App will disconnect from the application and will show the following screen.



Errors


When an error occurs the App shows the following screen:



These are the errors that can occur:

  • No e-connect device wasfound: the e-connect Bluetooth may not be activated yet or the connection to the e-connect may have been lost, try again later.
  • Could not log in: an error occurred while logging in, it may be that the mobile device does not have Wi-Fi or data enabled.
